Dr. Sona Khitcho

Dr. Sona Khitcho received her MD and studied to become an ophthalmologist at the University of Aleppo. She worked overseas for more than 20 years, before finally finding herself at the West coast of Canada in the beautiful British Columbia.
She continued her career here as a fellow in the Neuro-Ophthalmology department at the University of British Columbia. Following that, she studied at the University of Waterloo, and eventually achieved certification as a Canadian Doctor of Optometry in 2014 with the College of Optometrists in BC. She is an active member of the BC Doctors of Optometry and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.

Dr. Khitcho is an excellent asset to the practice of optometry who brings extensive knowledge and experience to the profession. She is committed to providing complete eye exams for the whole family in Langley, making sure to explain every detail about your eye condition with an emphasis on preventive care.
When not in the office, she enjoys travelling, gardening and hiking on the many tracks and trails in the area.
